Thursday/Friday December 10/11, 2020
We will depart USA for our overnight flight to Santiago. Upon arrival we will be met and transferred to the Hotel Plaza San Francisco for a brief rest before an afternoon city tour; followed by a dinner at the local Mercado Central.
Saturday, December 12, 2020
IAfter breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Puerto Montt. Visit to the local fish and handicraft market. Lunch. On the way to Huilo Huilo, stop in Frutillar to visit the Settlement Park-Museum before continuing to the national bioreserve Huilo Huilo. Hotel Nothofagus, Reino Fungi and Montana Magica.

Many activities are available, including Rafting, Kayaking, one of the longest ziplines in the world, viewing the park, visiting the Mapuche Community, and horseback riding.
Monday, December 14, 2020 ECLIPSE DAY
After breakfast, we’ll drive to the site for our eclipse watch. Later in the afternoon, we’ll head to the hot springs for a soak and barbeque, before we return to our hotel.

Continue via ferry first on a scenic crossing of Lake Pirihueico. Stop at San Martin de los Andes and further drive to Bariloche.

Enjoy the fresh air of mountain, lake and forest on Nahuel Huapi Lake. Visit the Saint Edward’s Chapel near Puerto Panuelo. Take the cable car to the Campanario Hill to enjoy the most spectacular panoramic view to the Nahuel Huapi Lake.

Transfer to the Airport and fly to Punta Arenas. Visit the Main square and the famous cemetery. Afterwards cross the pampa from Punta Arenas to Puerto Natales.

A boat trip up to the Perito Moreno Glacier wall of 200 vertical feet will mesmerize you. The glacier is an UNESCO World Heritage site and is swelling and growing instead of receding at a rate of up to 7’feet a day. Afternoon at leisure.
